IDIR at the Waterkant Exhibition 2025 in Kiel
IDIR – a Cooperation for Digital Implants – is proud to be part of the Waterkant Exhibition 2025 in Kiel! From June 1st to September 28th, 2025, every Saturday and Sunday from 12 PM to 7 PM, we will be showcasing our work at this innovative future-focused exhibition on the Waterkant grounds, highlighting two of our flagship projects: intelligent aneurysm stents and degradable magnesium (Mg) implants.
Our exhibition space invites visitors to explore the world of digital implant technology in an interactive way. A multimedia touchscreen presentation introduces our research and development efforts, demonstrating how implants are becoming smarter and more personalized through digital innovation.
The exhibition also features a compelling podcast with materials scientist Berit Zeller-Plumhoff (University of Rostock & Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon), who discusses the development and potential of degradable magnesium screws.
In addition, we are presenting real-life examples of stents and bone screws currently used in our projects, along with an interactive virtual reality animation that offers an immersive experience into the future of implant technology.
We’re excited to share our work in the field of digital implant research with a wide audience – and look forward to many inspiring encounters and conversations at the Waterkant Exhibition 2025 in Kiel!
