Successful Master’s Thesis Defense

Congratulations to Faizan Ghauri on the successful defense of his Master’s thesis, “Design, Fabrication and Testing of NiTi Implants”!

As part of his thesis, Faizan Ghauri focused on the development, fabrication, and experimental investigation of novel nickel-titanium (NiTi) implant designs for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms. In addition to the design and fabrication of the implants, a particular focus was placed on their mechanical and functional characterization.

Another key aspect of the work was the development and validation of a digital model of the NiTi implants.

The thesis was supervised by Raman Bedi, with Prof. Eckhard Quandt and Prof. Rainer Adelung serving as examiners.
