IDIR at the WCCM-ECCOMAS in Munich
On 24 July 2026, the reseach within IDIR was represented at the World Congress on Computational Mechanics – European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering (WCCM-ECCOMAS 2026) in Munich with several scientific contributions.
As part of the session "Endovascular Devices for Intracranial Aneurysms: Modeling, Experiments, and Flow Analysis", organized by Dr. Ratnadeep Pramanik, Harsha Prakasam Prabhakaran presented the following contribution:
"Investigating the Effect of Structural Complexity on the Hemodynamics in 3D-Printed Patient-Specific Intracranial Aneurysm Models."
In addition, Dr. Mariya Pravdivtseva presented her research entitled "3D-Printing and In Vitro Flow Experiments for Assessment of Aneurysm Treatment with Contour Neurovascular System."
The session provided an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange on the latest advances in the modeling, experimental investigation, and flow analysis of endovascular treatment approaches for intracranial aneurysms.
